The Adventures of Star Runner, the Pantheran

When I wrote this, I was still unsure how to refer to Captain Star Runner. “They” was not as ubiquitous as it now is. “It” didn’t sound right either so I defaulted to “he” while Ronnie refer to Star as “she”. That’s all really awkward. I am placing the novel here and it is basically as I wrote it, warts and all. Note: the western spiral arm will become Hesperian Arm and Sanctuary and other novels not in this part of the arm will become the Rainbow Marches.

The Czarina and Captain Kidd invite Ronnie and Star to their new base of operations in the Roman Federation. The Fungusian Network cannot be of much help as their clandestine listening post has been compromised. Working independently, they begin to realize how far the federation has diverted from its lofty goals. Through sabotage and an unexplained death, the pair find themselves in danger from unknown forces.
